Installation Guide for SharePoint 2019

Prerequisites

Make sure you have the following files:

• LiveTiles.Intranet.Workspaces.SP2019.sppkg
• LiveTiles.Intranet.SP2019.WSPs.zip

Installation Steps

Install LiveTiles Intranet API Service Application

Fist of all, install the LiveTiles Intranet API Service Application as described here.
After you have successfully installed the LiveTiles Intranet API Service Application you can continue with the steps below.

Workspaces App Installation

1. Add LiveTiles.Intranet.Workspaces.sppkg to the app catalog. Please make sure that you are viewing the app catalog in the classic view, as otherwise you might not be able to deploy correctly.
2. Head over to any site collection and install the LiveTiles Intranet Workspaces app.

Hub Integration

Once the app is installed, you should be able to see new action buttons on the bottom right part of the screen. If you also have LiveTiles Intranet Hub Landing Page installed and want to integrate the workspaces functionality in the hub, you must follow the instructions to Integrate Workspaces with Hub.

Enable Site Collection Creation

You need to execute the PowerShell scripts sp_enableSiteCollectionCreation.ps1 and sp_setTenantAdminSite.ps1 to enable the creation of site collections during the workspace creation process.

Configuration

Once the app is installed, you can configure your workspace types. You are now ready to create your first workspace.
