Overview

This page documents the general usage of LiveTiles Intranet Workspaces.

Manage Site Types

By clicking on "Manage Site Types" you open a configuration panel which allows you to make changes to your workspace types' JSON configuration and role assignments. For more info on how to configure your workspace types, see the Configuration section or consult the reference.

Manage Site

By clicking "Manage Site" you can either:

• convert the current site into a workspace (this option is available only if the current site collection is not already a workspace)
• update the metadata of the current workspace

Pending Website Requests

Relevant for site types, that have an approval workflow enabled. An overview of pending website requests for workspace approvers. Approvers can click on a pending website request to review or change metadata of a request in detail and afterwards approve or reject the request.

My Websites

Relevant for site types, that have an approval workflow enabled. An overview of website requests of the currently logged-in user.

Create Site

By clicking "Create Site" you open a panel which allows you to create a new workspace, as configured in your workspace types configuration. By following the wizard, you select the type of workspace and enter the workspace metadata in the form. After clicking on the "Create Site" button, this functionality will create a new site collection, apply the metadata, install all specified applications as well as apply the provisioning template as configured for the workspace type you have chosen.
