Features

  • Make grid spacing configurable
  • Add page styles, i.e. override the global styles for one specific page
  • SortingWebPart: Add support for multiple sort fields
  • Search flyout can be opened via URL query param (q for query and searchTab to select a tab)
  • Expose global search functionality as a web part

Changes/Improvements

  • Add further configs to Widget Selector
  • Show the Widget Catalog in a SharePoint page when configuring the "LiveTiles Intranet Hub" web part
  • Replace Condense icon with Reach icon
  • Add support for Reach recurring events
  • Minor improvements regarding the inline display of Reach content
  • Minor improvements (e.g. make the opacity configurable) and fixes in the mega menu

Fixes

  • Order of pages is considered in Reach data provider
  • CSV Export functionality doesn't affect the data provider's rowLimit
  • Misaligned top navigation bar
  • Flow layout template now aligns items in the last row correctly

Among other minor fixes and improvements, this release includes the following items:

Features

  • Global search supports horizontal scrolling and does not hide columns on narrow screens anymore.
  • Filter Widget and Refinement Widget are displayed in a side panel on mobile.
  • Enable the aggregation of Reach pages using a new data provider.
  • Add a Merger Web Part that can combine other web parts in to one.
  • Preview for Reach news detail view, embedded in the hub.

Changes/Improvements

  • Improve display of errors in hub.
  • Improve styling of refiners that are not in the global search.
  • Hero Widget: Small images are scaled up.
  • ListLayoutTemplateConfig now has an itemStyles member to specify custom styles for the items.

Fixes

  • Hero widget displays correct number of columns on a modern page.
  • A change in the hub's URL query params now forces expressions to be reavaluated.
  • Megamenu: Groups with no children are displayed, if they have an explicit URL configured.

Version 1.6.0 of LiveTiles Intranet Workspaces and Provisioning for Office 365 has been released.

In this release we provide an approval workflow for creating workspaces.

Workspaces

Approval Workflow

By enabling the approval workflow, users can be forced to go through an approval workflow before their sites are created.

Administrators can enable the approval workflow for a site type and then define requestors and approvers.

Approvers may review site requests and change the metadata the requestor applied to the request before the sites will be created.

Fixes

  • Creating taxonomy fields should now be more stable
  • Required taxonomy fields are now reflected in the UI
  • Site type default icons are visible again

Among other minor fixes and improvements, this release includes following items:

Features

  • Breadcrumb reflects SharePoint navigation within a site.
  • Mega Menu pages and groups can be configured to have a link.

Changes/Improvements

  • Admins can prevent users from configuring multiple languages in the Mega Menu.
  • Several improvements in the rendering of events.
  • Search Data Provider can be configured to not use any implicit wild cards (i.e. append an *).
  • The LiveTiles Reach GraphQL Data Provider supports searching for * as an empty query.
  • Sorting Web Part can be configured to invert colors.
  • Improve layout in "View all"-overlay.

Fixes

  • Mobile
    • Query parameters are maintained on all web parts from the same page in the mobile view.
    • Global search uses the whole screen height.
    • Pages that are not explicitly configured in the Mega Menu are still shown in the mobile navigation, if the user is currently on such a page.
  • Refiners are shown, even if there is only one value available.
  • If there is an error in one section in the Hero Web Part, the layout isn't destroyed anymore.
  • Mega Menu never has a horizontal scrollbar.

This release contains a number of features, improvements and fixes as well as a rebranding to align with the LiveTiles product family. Please note that existing installations will not be affected by the rebranding.

Together with the rebranding we also changed the names of our apps:

  • MatchPoint O365 Core will now be LiveTiles Intranet Hub
  • MatchPoint O365 Hub will now be LiveTiles Intranet Hub Landing Page

Features

  • Notifications widget can be configured that will add an icon to the top bar.
  • Add grouping options to list layout template / content items widget.
  • Icon-config-options support links to images.
  • Add a SimpleHeroItemTemplate that display less information.
  • Add basic support for the Reach GraphQL data provider.

Changes/Improvements

  • Rebranding: Adjust colors to match the LiveTiles color palette.
  • ExtendedItemTemplate:
    • use itemTypeIcon to configure icon
    • use hideImage to hide the image
  • Our "Hide SharePoint navigation bar on scrolling"-functionality is now also supported on modern pages.
  • Filters/Refiners widget: Configure minimalist filters.
  • "View all"-overlay is responsive.
  • Filter values can be searched.

Please note that this is a silent release.

In order to get the newest app packages (only required if you want the new names and app-logos in the app catalog and the site contents view) you are required to:

  • Remove the old app from the app catalog.
  • Add the new app to the app catalog.
  • You do NOT need to remove and add the app on all site collections. The names of the apps however will still be the old value.
