This is a major update as we updated all of our dependencies as well as migrated to SPFx 1.10. To use this version, please re-add the newest sppkg files to your app catalog. Please visit the installation prerequisites section in the documentation to download the latest app packages.

Features

  • MatchPoint web parts can now be placed on modern SharePoint pages
  • SharePoint web parts can now be placed on the hub page - please note that this is an experimental feature

Workspaces & Provisioning 1.2.0

We have released the third official version of MatchPoint for Office 365 Workspaces and Provisioning. MatchPoint Workspaces and Provisioning provides site provisioning functionality powered by the PnP Provisioning framework. Also, it lets you apply and manage metadata on the sites which leverages targeted content aggregation and a great governance experience for your SharePoint sites, O365 groups and teams.

New in this version:

New required API permission:

  • Microsoft Graph: Group.ReadWrite.All (Needed to sync with O365 groups)

In order to approve the new required permission, you need to open this link with an admin account of your tenant and approve the permissions.

UI improvements

  • Workspace config search considers title
  • Added Workspaces reference, update documentation
  • Revise labels in "Manage Workspace Types"
  • Rename "Configuration"-action
  • Add logo to workspace type config
  • Show config key in admin view

Other fixes and improvements:

Features

  • Provide an inline "View all"-functionality that displays all items within MatchPoint hub, without redirecting to the source system.
  • Add support for infinite scroll.
  • Additional user infos are loaded and can be used in expressions for certain data providers (ConfiguredLazyExpressionString).
  • Height of a grid row is decreased from 500px to 100px. This enables more flexibility in designing the page.
  • Reach news can be added to the global search.
  • Introduce new action menu that for example also contains actions from the MatchPoint Workspace functionality. The feedback button has also been moved to this menu.
  • Integrate filter widget in to hero widget. This enables admins to pre-define a range of filters that can be personalized by the user.
  • Show license information in the global settings panel as well as display a toast, when the license expires in less than 30 days.

  • Hub logo URL (logoUrl) can now be an expression.
  • Improve handling of null/undefined values in Item Templates.
  • Data providers can convert filters provided by Filters Widget to fit their own needs.
