Version 1.4.0 of MatchPoint for Office 365 Workspaces and Provisioning has been released.

This version adds the integration to the MatchPoint Metadata Service enabling admins to automatically register a workspace/site collection for the MatchPoint Metadata Service. Please see our documentation for more information on how to enable this for your workspaces.

  • break inheritance on fields/targets
  • configure values in directly in the config
  • specify when to write a field (always, only if empty)

  • Improve scrolling behavior within widgets.
  • Hide dropdown in searchbox when find on type is enabled.
  • Support row limit in Reach Data Providers.
  • Render a "not supported" message when using the Twitter Widget on Internet Explorer as Twitter does not support IE in its Widgets.
  • Some performance improvements related to the initial loading of the page.

Fixes

  • Megamenu doesn't hide hubsites navigation panel anymore in edit mode.

This is a silent release. But please note that in order for performance improvements to take affect, your hub.aspx must be created using version 6. To be sure we recommend following the last step from the major update documentation (recreate the hub.aspx).

This is the first version of MatchPoint Governance for Office 365.

The MatchPoint Governance Dashboard allows users to perform administrative tasks on SharePoint resources with ease.

The first Release of the MatchPoint Governance Dashboard provides functionality for Permission Governance. The permissions tab gives users an insightful overview of all permissions on SharePoint resources within a site.

  • Add a basic version of a Reach Posts Widget.
  • Add scopedSettings, for example to hide the header and footer.

Changes/Improvements

  • Hero Widget: The width of the image in split mode can now be configured.
  • Add an entry to the global settings to access the JSON Editor (same as using ctrl + m).
  • SharePointSearchDataProvider: Considers "my" items in the view all URL.
  • Mobile navigation considers colors configured in the mega menu configuration.

Fixes

  • Fix bug where field names from the item expression were not parsed correctly.
  • Configs (global and user) can always be saved again.

  • Fixed a bug related to infinite scrolling, where too many items were loaded in the view all overlay
  • Fixed a bug, where the MegaMenu flyout could not be opened anymore in special cases

Version 1.3.0 of MatchPoint for Office 365 Workspaces and Provisioning has been released.

MatchPoint Workspaces and Provisioning provides site provisioning functionality powered by the PnP Provisioning framework. It also lets you apply and manage metadata on the sites which leverages targeted content aggregation and a great governance experience for your SharePoint sites, O365 groups and teams.

  • Group visibility can now be configured in the workspace form (Reference)
  • Group Owners/Members can now be configured in the workspace form (Reference)
  • The People picker component now allows security groups to be picked for site membership fields and normal people fields ( Not allowed for O365 group owners/members fields )

Bugfixes

  • Fixed a bug, where users who create a group type workspace were not owners of the new workspace
  • Fixed a bug, where new group type workspaces would not show up in the Outlook people app

Miscellaneous

  • "WorkspaceRole" config field has been deprecated in favor of the "MultiPerson" config field
