This version brings a major update which requires some manual steps on the admin's behalf.

Update steps:

  1. Remove the Workspaces webpart from the SharePoint page(s) that it has been added to
  2. Remove the Workspaces SharePoint app from the site collection(s) that it has been added to
  3. Remove it from the Recycle Bin and Second Stage Recycle Bin
  4. Remove the Workspaces SharePoint app from the app catalog
  5. Remove it from the Recycle Bin and Second Stage Recycle Bin
  6. Add the new Workspaces SharePoint app to the app catalog
  7. Deploy it
  8. Add the Workspaces SharePoint app to the desired site collection(s)
  9. Add the Workspaces webpart to the desired page(s)

Improvements

  • Workspace metadata deletion can now be stopped via the validationResults property in a webhook response
  • Added the option to choose the default language when creating Workspace
  • A Workspace title or URL can now contain a richer set of characters

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where GroupOwners and GroupMembers fields on GROUP#0 workspaces could not be edited
  • Fixed several issues with assigning permissions to groups
